a breathtakingly astonishing dream-like fantasy

Bear With Me is a breathtakingly astonishing dream-like fantasy that fulfilled the deepest wishes I have for a great story. This was much more than just a story of girl meets boy. It stretched the imagination and strained the heart at every turn. It reached new heights and conquered any limitations standing in its wake. This is a story that will take your heart by storm and show you that there is nothing wrong with hoping for more.
Sully has watched the foundation of her world disintegrate before her eyes, and her heart isn’t ready to feel again. She doesn’t know how to reach out to her brother who is suffering as much as she is. The ache in her soul shows no signs of lessening the death grip on her heart. A new town, a new chance at pursuing her college dreams, and getting to know what’s left of her family seem like a good place to start. What she doesn’t expect is Declan. The mysterious man who can reach into her very being and show her that light and hope still reside within even the darkest of corners. Declan has lived a life of sharp emptiness that leaves no room for hope, but when he meets Sully, he learns that life still has a few secrets left that even he can learn. Does Fate hold the key to heal these two, broken souls, or will someone else take away the only change they have left to heal and grow?
To say that I was taken by complete surprise by these outstanding characters is a huge understatement. My heart was savagely destroyed and then gently ravished by the exquisite journey of these two beautiful characters. I hated to see them go, but I was ecstatic to see them find their heart and their hope in each other. Their connection was beautifully transforming and utterly perfect, and I loved how Sully’s family encouraged and loved her above all else.
Nicole Blanchard is an outstanding author that will touch your heart and change your world without even realizing what is going on. Her talent is so impressive and huge that you will not be able to walk away unchanged. Her words will wrap around you and seep into your mind slowly and gently while it brings with it intense and genuine emotion that will leave you feeling everything. This is one astounding artist that you will not want to miss out on!

Great Paranormal Romance!

I've been following Nicole Blanchard for a while now but this was my first time actually reading any of her work. While I really enjoyed Bear With Me, this is one of those novellas that could have benefited from being a full length novel. That being said, it was still a great read and I'll definitely be checking out her other books in the future.
Sullivan is an eighteen year old struggling with the death of her parents and trying to learn how to cope with the new "gifts" she received from her mom. Being able to see people's and object's thoughts and memories when you touch them can't be an easy thing, then you add in the fact that Sully's distancing herself from her twin brother because she doesn't know how to talk to him about it, and the poor girl is feeling pretty alone in the world.
When Sully and Declan meet there's an instant connection between them and things start to heat up rather quickly. The romance aspect was spot on in the beginning, in my opinion, but after some things come to light, the romance gets pulled to a halt and that was where my main issue with the length came in. I'm not a fan of heroes pushing the heroine away in general but the fact that this was so short made it hard for me to feel like their relationship was back on track when we got to the end.
Of course along with the romance we get some great mystery, suspense, and danger that made made up for the other issues that I had. And finding out who the baddie was? Totally didn't see that coming!
Overall, Bear With Me was a great paranormal romance and I can't wait to check out the other books in the Woodland Creek Series.

Brilliant, sexy and thrilling

I was given this book to beta read for the author and again Nicole doesn't disappoint. Sully and her brother Sam have to move across country to live with their grandmother after their parents are killed. Sullivan and Sam are twins but are growing apart since the tragedy. Starting a new college and desperate to find out what's happening to her, she doesn't understand the changes that are going on in her mind. Then she meets Declan, he's a quite sexy man with his own secrets, when girls start turning up dead , things get complicated for everyone. If you like well written sexy and thrilling books with a twist this is for you
